KAYLA GRAHAM

Kayla is an actor, director, improviser, and fight choreographer. She has been performing and teaching over the past 10 years throughout Ohio, from Dayton to Columbus to her hometown of Yellow Springs. Kayla is an award winning actress. She received her Theatre Degree from Columbia College Chicago where she laid the groundwork for a career in the arts and found her passion for creating dynamic and safe storytelling. She is thrilled to be a part of GravityWorks and collaborating with Maya in this unique art form to continue her passion of storytelling and bringing dynamic and compelling art to her community.

  • I recently got to work with Kayla in a local production of Romeo and Juliet for fight choreo, and she was just amazing. Her choreo was not only safe and careful, but it did so much to bring my character to life and help the fights feel like a natural part of my acting. I loved how she focused on the details--full extensions, staying in stance, hitting the right targets. My character was supposed to be a very skilled swordsman, and her attention to detail made me feel confident in my portrayal of that character. She has a talent for bringing authenticity and intrigue to the fights, while also being a delight to work with.
